1. What are you doing right now?
N: Getting ready to go to Pacifica, this little beach town south of the city.
T: Drinking coffee and petting Keeper.

2. Favorite place you’ve traveled to?
N: Southeast Asia, or Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula, or the Amalfi coast in Italy…it’s so hard to choose!
T: Thailand…the food, weather and people are just the best.

3. Do you have any guilty pleasures? 
N: Tea lattes, Uber, and Justin Bieber’s latest album.
T: Pastries. I was eyeing up a morning bun at the coffee shop this morning and said to myself “she’ll never know…” but I stayed strong.

4. What is your spirit animal?
N: Jack.
T: A sloth.

5. Post an embarrassing photo of yourself.
N: Oh, college.

T: I’m in high school here. Me and my friends found these clothes in my neighborhood and I put them on in front of my house.

6. Do you play any instruments?
N: Guitar, and some harmonica.
T: I am a proud whistler.

7. Favorite foods?
N: Thai food and Burmese food. San Francisco has great food.
T: Indian food – anything on the menu, any day of the week.

8. Who are your style icons?
N: Francoise Hardy, Alexa Chung, 90s Kate Moss, Kurt Cobain, Caroline de Margret.

T: Steve McQueen I guess.

9. What makes you laugh really hard?
N: Zack Galafinakis’ portrayal of a southern accent, and our friend/brother, Wes.
T: Stupid humor. The dumber the better.

10. Who are your celebrity crushes?
N: Bill Hader (SNL) and Evan Peters (American Horror Story). Laid-back creative guys with dark/weird humor are generally what I’m into. Trey fits the bill.
T: I like sweet, badass chicks, with names like “Nicole”. Also Sofia Vergara because that’s a lot of woman.

11. Describe your perfect night.
N: Having dinner/drinks with good friends and going to a music show. Or being somewhere tropical at night with Trey.
T: It depends. If I’ve had a long week, then ordering Indian take out and watching Dateline with my girl. If I’m trying to get crunk… then close friends, a whole mess of drinks/sushi, with a karaoke night-cap.

12. What are your favorite movies?
N: The Place Beyond The Pines, Juno, Short term 12. My Netflix queue is filled with B-rated independent films. I like how they really develop the characters. John Hughes movies are high on the list too.

T: Dumb and Dumber, Blazing Saddles, The Matrix.

13. What’s something not a lot of people know about you?
N: I was a vegetarian for 10 years, then started eating meat a few years ago. Recently I’ve gone back to being mostly vegetarian. I was also student body president of my high school (the one I didn’t get kicked out of) and runner-up for homecoming queen.
T: I was hardcore Catholic growing up and spent a lot of time at church. And I got rejected from art school. Computer Science was my fall back.

14. What is your hobby?
N: Writing short-stories and making videos.
T: BMX

15. If a movie were made about you, who would play you?
N: Aubrey Plaza

16.What’s one of your favorite memories?
N: In college Trey and I shot-gunned beers and rode our bikes to the Rialto, this independent theater in Raleigh, to watch the movie Juno. When we got there the theater was empty except for us, so we just sat in the middle of the theater with our legs on the seats in front of us watching the movie.
T: Going to Washington D.C. with Nic the summer of junior year in college. It was our first out of state trip together and we stayed in a hotel my dad paid for with his Holiday Inn points. We just walked around and did random stuff, had nowhere to be but together.

17. What are the last 3 bands/artists you listened to?
N: Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile, Future.

T: The last 3 bands I listened to on Spotify were 1. Cloud Nothings, 2. Father John Misty, and 3. Yuck. I listen to a lot of post-punk and early 90s indie-rock.

18. What are you watching on TV right now?
N: Judd Apatow’s new Netflix series ‘Love’, and the new season of Broad City.

T: Vice and Southpark.

19. What’s your hidden talent?
N: I can rave dance. My brother taught me when we were growing up. He’s a DJ/Composer in New Zealand now. It’s a hidden talent only because I have to be drinking (a lot) for it to come out.
T: I have handwriting “like a girl” which has always kinda offended me as being sexist.

20. Where do you want to be in five years?
N: Who knows! I guess I’m superstitious about making plans. I like to let life happen, and just be happy in the process.
T: Ugh, not 5 years older. I don’t know, but I hope I’m as happy as I am right now.
