This weekend we went to a Giants baseball game, tried out our new sous vide machine, and spent some time on the beach down in Pacifica. Being on the coast was a welcome respite from the balmy 85-90 degree temps in the East bay. The dogs chased the ball on the beach while we spotted sea lions in the surf from a blanket just out of the tide’s reach. Jack has learned if he stays down by the water his paws don’t get burned on the hot sand. Sweet guy. We also caught up on Mr. Robot, this show about a vigilante computer hacker. So good!
This morning we were woken up by a 4.1 magnitude earthquake just a mile from us. It was the strongest one we’ve ever experienced here so far. Definitely a moment when you think “is this the big one?”…
